Signature of Cooperation Agreement of Between Cotuco Rosarito and Chinese Tour Operator
An agreement of cooperation between the Committee of Tourism and Conventions of Rosarito and the Exquisite Tours Company was signed Saturday, March 21, to promote Rosarito in the oriental market of Southern California and in China directly.

“This agreement intends to bring tours to Rosarito from Los Angeles, in the first stage and later to offer the concept of vacations in two nations for tourism that will come directly from China.” said Mrs. Lily Ho, Vice-president of the tour operator company.
In addition to tourist promotion, a consultant`s office is established within the new Rosarito Industrial Park project so that Chinese companies can export finished products, or so that products made in Rosarito can be exported to China.

“The search of new markets for Rosarito, as in this case the Chinese Market is one of the objectives that we have drawn up at COTUCO, and the signature agreement with Exquisite Tours is an important part of this.” mentioned Lic. Laura Wong, President of the Committee of Tourism and Conventions of Rosarito Beach.

The signature agreement occurred during the conduct of Travel World-wide Show 2009, an event exclusively for the Chinese community in Southern California, which was held in Monterey Park California. In this event, the Rosarito COTUCO had a tourist promotion module, which, for the first time, a Chinese language pamphlet was distributed with information regarding the cities of Rosarito, Ensenada, Tijuana, and Tecate.

The Tourist Promotion Council of Mexico, seated in Los Angeles, provided five spaces so that the different market destinations of Baja California could promote their attractions in the Chinese market.
