Baja Blue Fishing Tournament
Don’t miss the Baja Blue Fishing Tournament at San Felipe, Baja Mexico in memory of Tony Reyes on Saturday March 6, 2010 starting at 7:00 a.m. at the San Felipe Malecon. A fun event that will give you the opportunity to get to know this wonderful place of Baja, located by the Sea of Cortez, only a couple of hours south of the Border.

RULES
All participants must pay registration to participate at Baja Blue Fishing Tournament and must pay also and get a sport fishing license. A help-desk from SECTURE (Baja State Government Tourist Secretariat) will be at the Baja Blue headquarters at San Felipe´s Malecon street next to “Rosita Restaurant” in front of the beach.
Fee per person is 50.00 usd for those participants with their own boat and equipment. It will be a 100.00 usd fee for those participants with no boat and no equipment, Baja Blue will offer tickets to join all equipped boats available for them. A $120.00 usd fee will be charged to the VIP participants.
Tickets can be purchased at any sales location either in Mexicali, El Centro or San Felipe.

Baja Blue will have available a sales and information desk at Rosita´s Restaurant in San Felipe – latest time to register is Friday, March 5th at 8 PM.
Baja Blue will oversee that every boat carries 4 to 5 passengers maximum.

A radio intercom service will be available during the Fishing Tournament and Baja Blue staff will be available additionally at San Felipe´s Marina to assist participants using their ramp as well as for acquiring gas for their boats.

All participants with no exemptions will have their official sport fishing license issued before the event.

Fish that will be considered for prizes are: Corbina, Sierra Fish, Cabrilla, Gulf Coney, Black Sea Bass, Halibut, Spotted Puffer, Flounder, Threadfin Jack, Bigeye Jack, and any other fishing species. Sharks, snakes and mantrays will not be considered by the judges. All caught fish must be shown entirely fresh and with guts. There will be judges in local fishing points in the area including Consag Rock.
