Hola! Welcome back to the Mind Body and Sol column and welcome back to Baja, California. We are finally in the middle of summer and while the rest of the world is experiencing extreme weather, Baja, California is just right.

Our days are filled with bright blue skies, a few clouds to offer gentle shade and an ocean breeze that fans us throughout the day and into the night. Now is the time for you to bring your family, friends and loved ones to one of the friendliest peninsulas in the world. While you are here, please select one or two (hopefully all) of these things to do while living or visiting us in Baja, California:

• Visit one of our many, worldwide, highly acclaimed spas and indulge yourself in fantastic body wraps, pedicures and manicures and don’t forget to have a memorable, head to toe body massage.


• Go for a moonlit horseback ride along the peaceful Pacific Ocean
  
• Visit Estero Beach Resort and Spa. I stayed here during the month of July, with my three grandchildren and we had the time of our lives. The resort is located facing the ocean and they provide exceptional outdoor services while you are taking advantage of the water rides, walking along the beach or playing in their wonderful wraparound swimming pool complete with swim up bar.
  
• A must do is to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at La Bamba’s. The service is exceptional and the food is excellent, and if you are not satisfied, they will take it back, make it right with a smile. This is one place in Baja that you can truly have it your way.
  
• Buy a brand new Rosarito Beach Condo. When you do, you have the luxury of having a second home in addition to having a much sought after year round beach vacation rental (it’s a win-win).

PS, have a cup of fresh, homemade Mexican ice cream, the coconut and fresh strawberry is awesome.
