Almost
every developer of oceanfront or ocean view property
along the Gold Coast from Tijuana to Ensenada will
be at the Investing In Baja’s Oceanfront
exposition May 19, 20 and 21 at the Rosarito Beach
Hotel.
“More than 90 percent of the developers will
be there,” said Hugo Torres, an organizer
of the exposition whose sponsors include the Baja
state Secretary of Tourism and the city of Rosarito.
Exhibitors rented all 40 booths available for
the exposition within days of their becoming available.
As well as developers, Stewart Title and finance
companies will attend, Three free seminars will
be held each of the first two days and two on the
third to provide potential buyers with all the
information they need about investing in Baja real
estate.
Hours of the exposition are 9 to 6 Friday and
Saturday and 9 to 5 Sunday. Several hotels are
offering discounts to those attending. Further
information is available on www.bajasoceanfront.com

del Mar, Esmeralda del Mar, Hacienda de los Suenos, Realty Executives
Gibbs, Porto Hussong, Las Ventanas, Las Olas, Remax Baja, La

The exposition is part of a series of three this year,
along with a panel discussion. It follows the premier Investing
in Baja’s Oceanfront event last October at which $35 million
(U.S.) in property was sold, As much as $200 million in sales
are projected this year.
On July 13 a panel discussion will be held at
the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Other expositions
are July 15 and 16 in Southern California, concluding
with a major exposition Oct. 6, 7 and 8 at the
Rosarito Beach Hotel.
The series is tied to the boom in which thousands
of Americans are buying homes and property along
Baja’s western Gold
Coast from Tijuana to Ensenada at a fraction of U.S. home prices.
Thousands of units are under construction. Values are appreciating
at 30 percent per year.
With the rapid increase in U.S. home prices,
many are buying oceanfront properties in Baja using
their equity there. Buyers are investors, people
looking for vacation homes and an increasing number
of people who commute to work in the U.S.
